Bariatric Surgery

Established in 1999, Northwestern Memorial's Bariatric Surgery program specializes in weight reduction surgery. The program's board certified surgeons, Alexander Nagle, MD, Director of Bariatric Surgery, Eric Hungness, MD and Jay Prystowsky, MD, have provided pre and post operative care to more than 700 patients. Our qualified nurse clinicians, medical assistants and administrative staff partner with physicians to ensure each patient receives the highest level of care and are available to help you navigate through the insurance verification process.
