Rheumatology (Arthritis)

The Division of Rheumatology provides consultation and care for patients with all varieties of arthritis, musculoskeletal problems, autoimmune disorders and vasculitis.

Our arthritis program is one of 13 centers in the United States funded by a Multipurpose Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases Center Grant from the National Institutes of Health. The arthritis center's multidisciplinary team diagnoses and treats arthritic, rheumatic and autoimmune disorders.

Our rheumatologists are included among the list of Chicago Magazine's "Best Doctors in Chicago" and rated the top rheumatology program in Chicago by U.S. News & World Report.

Treatment and procedures include:

  • Joint fluid aspiration and injection
  • Medication including the latest multi-drug protocols
