Internal Medicine

Northwestern Memorial's General Internal Medicine Division provides primary care for adults of all ages, with special emphasis on preventive medicine and patient education. Our board certified physicians have special interests and expertise in cancer prevention, prevention of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, geriatrics, hypertension, sports medicine and women's health.

The General Internal Medicine physicians are members of the teaching faculty at Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern Memorial and are involved in clinical research trials in the areas of cardiovascular epidemiology, cancer control, early detection and prevention, and mental health concerns in primary care.

Our physicians have received nationally prominent awards such as the Robert Wood Johnson Generalist Faculty Scholar Award and The American Cancer Society Primary Care Career Development Award. Many also have been selected as outstanding physicians in "Best Doctors in the Midwest".
