Diabetes: The Latest in Medical Management

An estimated 20.8 million people in the United States have diabetes, a serious, lifelong condition. Symptoms may include increased hunger and thirst, more frequent urination weight loss, blurred vision, fatigue and slow healing of wounds or sores. Gregory Clarke, MDwill review the clinical significance of diabetes and identify who should be screened for this disease. He also will highlight how to maintain glycemic control through medications and lifestyle intervention and discuss the complications that can arise.
