Epilepsy is a neurological condition that from time to time produces brief disturbances in the normal electrical functions of the brain which may affect a person's consciousness, bodily movements or sensations for a short time.

In this program, Stephen Schuele, MD, MPH, discusses various types of epilepsy and seizures, how to optimize medical treatment and improve quality of life with epilepsy and the unique chance for selected patients of curing epilepsy with surgery.
